Making A Difference At The Coachman Center

The Coachman Family Center in downtown White Plains serves homeless families until they find a more permanent home.
Kol Ami proudly partners with the Coachman to help provide much needed supplies for the children as well as brighten their day.
We have many great donation projects for you to choose from and we will always accept a financial contribution.
From baby wipes to sweet 16 parties and soccer we do it all.

Books, Bags &
School Supplies

Last year we donated over 200 book bags and school supplies for every child at the Coachman center. Please help us continue our efforts by donating school supplies throughout the year. Donation bins are located outside of the Kol Ami main office. For more information contact Jess or Dave Lorden.

Clothing &
Winter Coats

Please help us as we provide clothing and winter coats to the children and adults at the Coachman. New and gently used clothing are welcome. Donations may be placed in the bin located outside the Temple Office. For more information contact Jess Lorden.

Baby Supplies & Equipment

Please help us as we provide monthly baby supples. We need new baby supplies as well as gently used equipment. Donations can be placed in the crib outside of the ECP (Early Childhood Program) office. For more information contact Merav Veetal.

Board Games

We take new or used board games (as long as they are complete). There is a board game donation bin outside of the Kol Ami main office. For more information contact Jess Lorden.

Monthly Birthday Celebrations
(ages 3-18)

During your birthday month donate an age-appropriate gift or gift card. Gifts can go in the donations bins located outside of the Kol Ami main office but please give the gift cards to somebody inside the main office.

You can also sponsor a party at the Coachman. Kol Ami will arrange for entertainment and you provide the food and party supplies. For more information contact Allison Adler.

Sports Equipment

We want every child at the Coachman to be able to participate in after-school sports programs and recreational activities at the Coachman Family Center. We need new or gently used sports equipment that can be dropped off in the donation bin outside of the Kol Ami main office. For more information contact Jess Lorden.
