Our beautiful, newly-renovated sanctuary creates a uniquely spiritual environment for worship and provides easy access to all members.
Our goal was to create a bright, modern, and inviting space for Jewish worship that reflects our warm, caring congregation. We now have flexibility for greater accommodation of contemporary worship practices and congregant life-cycle events seasons of joy, times of loss, social action activities and special events. It will also better accommodate members and guests with special needs.
Maura Smolover of Arts In Architecture, designed the Torah Ark and the Ner Tamid, the most sacred aspect of the sanctuary space. Maura is a world-renowned artist and creative and imaginary thinker. She is also the daughter of our beloved Cantor Emeritus, Raymond Smolover, making her uniquely connected to this sanctuary which has been her spiritual home for many years.
