“Our lives begin to end,” the Reverend Martin Luther King, Jr. said, “the day we become silent about things that matter.”
This is not rocket science.
This is not complicated.
The forcible separation of children from their parents is cruel and barbaric and inhuman.
This is a test-run on the conscience of America.
- Not Democratic America
- Not Republican America
- Not Jewish, Christian, Muslim, White, Black, Native America
This is about the conscience of America.
What’s at stake now is no less than our souls, our country, our world, life itself.
“Our lives begin to end the day we become silent about things that matter.”
We hope to see you next Shabbat, June 30th, at this important gathering – as concerned Americans gather in cities across the United States.
